Yesterday as I walked out to weed the strawberry patch, a snake slithered along our back patio and frightened me. Taylor caught it and showed it to David. Then the two chased it around the back yard for 15 minutes! Poor snake!
My Grandma Alice lived in Thailand for 1 1/2 years, and surely dealt with snakes galore. Perhaps this is why her extreme phobia of snakes began. As a kid, my mom warned that we must never use a snake to play a trick on Grandma, as her heart might not withstand the scare!

You guys find snakes wherever you live! :) Good thing it wasn't in your house this time, eh? Your trip on Saturday looks like a fun time - good job on running the 5K too! We miss you!!!
Ugh! I think a snake might do me in as well as Grandma Alice! I grew up in Eastern Washington and there were lots of snakes-- (and lots of sagebrush like "what all of UT" looks like too!)
Do you know what type of snake it was? --shiver!--
Take care, nice to catch up with you via your blog. Love,
