Christmas Books for Children

For David's first Christmas, we gave him a book. I just reread the note I wrote him in December of 2007: I said that each year we would add another book to his Christmas collection. Uh oh! We missed that tradition last year!

Do you have a favorite Christmas book for children? If so, I'd love to compile a list of favorites here!

Hi Taylor & Lisa! One of our favorites is Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree by Robert Barry. It's really cute. We also get a Christmas book for our children each year and it was last year's book. Kate was just over 2 and Reese was 3.5. They both loved it. This year we're giving our kids The Jolly Postman's Christmas. Another great book! I think it's a great tradition.

My sister Anna reminded me that I bought for her a beautifully illustrated Christmas book called "We Three Kings" by Gennady Spirin. Might get that one next year!
