My mom replied:
He did not mention anything about the aftershock. I had a 6:45 am presentation at Rotary this morning on TOUCH and the Benton Co. Sheriff was there and she told me about the earthquake which really worried me. We tried to figure out if it happened before or after his phone call. So when I went home I checked Deseret News and found this article written by the reporter.
It sounds like it happened before his phone call and perhaps he was one of the ones who even slept through it. I hope so.
